Assessment/Consultation

  • $160.00/hour

Assessment/consultation includes case history, assessment, interpretation & report; family education; therapy plan.

Therapy

  • $160.00 / hour

  • $128.00 / 45 minutes

  • $ 90.00 / 30 minutes

  • $112.00 / hour for group session (as deemed appropriate by SLP)

Reports

  • $160.00 / hour

Home Program

  • $160.00 / hour

Travel

  • $80.00 / hour + mileage @ $0.70 per km

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a session must be cancelled, Communicare should be notified at least 24 hours in advance. 

Failure to comply will be billed the session fee.

Your Questions, Answered

  • It is strongly recommended that a family member/caregiver be present during most therapy sessions to ensure continuum of care in the home environment. However, creating a positive learning environment for the client, family and therapist is the most important.

  • Sessions are typically 30, 45 or 60 minutes and may vary according to the needs of each client.

  • Payment is required at the end of each session, unless third party billing is involved. We accept credit cards, e-transfers, cheques, and cash.

  • No, a referral is not needed.

  • Home visits are possible and need to be scheduled with the therapist. Mileage and time for travel from the therapist's office will be charged.

  • Yes, depending on the schedule of the therapist. We are happy to work in conjunction with others; however, we do charge mileage and for time it takes to travel.

  • Yes we do. We value collaborative team involvement with teachers, all health professionals, and family.
